Basic vanilla cupcakes

Cupcakes are hot! You see them everywhere and they are delicious. If you want to start making your own cupcakes, you need basic recipe. After you master the basics, you can start decorating the cupcakes which is the fun part! Find out how to make basic vanilla cupcakes after the jump!


Ingredients:
  • 185 grams of margarine or vegetable oil (room temperature)
  • 185 grams of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk (room temperature)
  • 3 eggs
  • 185 grams of self raising flower
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 8 grams of vanilla sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract



You also need cupcake liners.

Cooking instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven on 200 degrees Celsius
  2. Mix the margarine, brown sugar and milk.
  3. Add the eggs to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Add the self raising flower, baking powder, vanilla sugar and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until the batter is smooth.
  5. Put the cupcake liners in the oven pan.
  6. Fill the cupcakes liners with the batter 3/4 of the way full.
  7. Bake the cupcakes in the oven for 20 minutes.
